The ongoing tussle between AIPNBEF and PNB Management is over on two key issues: the PNB Aagman app and the Employee-based QR Code resolved. PNB Management launched an app PNB Aagman app, for marking attendance of Employees through the app. All India Punjab National Bank Employees Federation, representing thousands of Workmen Staff in PNB, immediately took a strong stand on the issue and demanded that this app is breaching the Privacy of their members. They submitted that there is already a Biometric attendance process in place, and no need for App app-based process, which may breach the privacy of employees.

Simultaneously, they submitted their disagreement on Employee-based QR Codes, which were installed in branches last month, and launched nationwide strike calls in PNB. Later on in the CLC meeting between the AIPNBEF representative and Management, PNB management agreed to mutually settle these issues. As per the direction of CLC to settle these issues to avoid any industrial dispute now,  PNB management has written a letter to PR Mehta, General Secretary AIPNBEF, stating that Marking Attendance via app is OPTIONAL and the QR Code is converted from Employee specific to branch specific.
